AVAS Explore – FACT FINDING EXPLORATORY AGRI. BUSINESS TOUR
Since 2021, AVAS, in collaboration with our esteemed partners, has had the privilege of hosting nearly 500 delegates from across Africa on transformative, immersive exploratory tours. These journeys take participants to some of the world’s most advanced agriculture, agribusiness, and food production facilities in Europe, specifically in Spain, France, and Portugal. In 2025, we proudly expanded our reach to include the United States, the world’s most prolific food producer.
Our tours are more than just visits; they are invaluable opportunities for delegates to gain critical knowledge and insights that are essential for driving industrialisation and advancing agritechnology in their home countries. Participants engage with cutting-edge practices, innovative technologies, and sustainable methods that are reshaping the agriculture landscape.
The agriculture and food production sectors hold immense potential for economic growth and development. With governments increasingly focused on combatting food inflation and enhancing food security, as well as a pressing need to alleviate rural poverty, the mission of AVAS has never been more relevant. We exist to empower individuals and communities with the knowledge necessary to harness these opportunities and contribute to sustainable agricultural practices.
To industrialise the agriculture sector and implement agritechnology effectively, it is crucial for the developing world to first acquire comprehensive knowledge. Through our carefully curated tours, AVAS equips delegates with the insights needed to lead this transformation, ensuring they return home inspired and ready to make impactful changes in their communities.
