AVAS Consulting is a leading Agriculture and Food Production capacity builder. We work with Governments, Corporates, Institutions, Entrepreneurs, and SMEs in emerging and underdeveloped nations, enhancing their Agriculture and Food Production sectors.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is adept at engaging with senior management, senior civil servants, and government officials, including Ministers and State Commissioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of our Exploratory Business Tours and Training packages.
- Actively seek sponsorships for our various events.
You will be expected to establish and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders across corporate and government sectors, as well as farmers and food producers
The sales targets are demanding and you must be as ambitious as we are to spread the value we offer to a prospect list that you will have to create.
- Navigate demanding schedules and extended travel periods, as the role primarily requires being out of the office.
- Exhibit leadership qualities, creativity, and initiative to unlock new opportunities in the market.
Candidate Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and experience:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of success.
- Own vehicle, as travel is a significant aspect of the role.
- A degree from a recognised University.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain senior-level customer relationships.
- A street-smart approach, capable of thinking outside the box to seize opportunities.

This role is demanding and requires a self-motivated individual who can operate independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and be prepared for the challenges that come with the territory.
